Tri-State Tournament Of Champions

June 13, 2011 04:04 PM
There’s a new tournament this fall, the USTA Southern Tri-State Tournament of Champions, which will be held in Lexington, SC October 7-9. The tournament will feature the top 5 qualifying singles players and doubles teams in the Men's and Women's Open and 2.5 – 4.5 divisions. This year players from Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina have the opportunity to compete in this elite, limited 16-player draw. The goal is that the tournament will progress to include participants from all nine of the USTA Southern States.

In order to participate in the event you must play in one of the six qualifying tournaments in the respective states. The first qualifying tournament is in SC this month, then July, August and September. The top players from the qualifying tournaments will be invited to play in the Tri-State Tournament of Champions and participate in a fun weekend of tennis including a first round consolation and a player's party.
