Tennis Channel Show Highlights Flood-damaged Nashville Courts

September 16, 2010 11:44 AM
Tennis Channel premiered a show this week called "Community Surface" that highlighted flood-damaged courts in Nashville. The show documented the effort to clean up courts at the Centennial Sportsplex after floods hit the city in early May.

The Tennis Channel described the show with these comments: "In this episode we join our host, Toure, in Nashville, Tennessee where a major flood has hit the city and its oldest public tennis facility is in the midst of the aftermath. With the help of the local community, the USTA, and SportMaster, a sport surfacing company, tennis returns to this facility, along with a brand new set of courts just for kids."

The show is slated to run often over the next few months. Click here for viewing times and more information.
