Southern Cares Funds Tennis Industry with $803,800

USTA Southern was concerned about the financial instability brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and decided to provide extra support to tennis industry professionals and volunteers who work in many occupations and live in nine Southern states. The USTA Southern Board of Directors voted to fund a new initiative, named Southern Cares. After extensive outreach to the tennis industry in the Southern Section, USTA Southern awarded, or is in the process of awarding, more than $803,800. Read More

Top-Level Junior Tournaments Resume in July

Southern level tournaments will resume July 18 with the Level 1A. (no doubles) followed by the rescheduling of the Southern Closed Championships July 30-August 5 (no doubles). The Southern Closed this year will count for National Level 4 points for 2020 and 2021 shadow ranking (not Level 3) and Southern Level 1 points for this year. Read More
