Explaining the Cash Reward Program/League Growth Initiative
The Cash Reward Program/League Growth Initiative is a program in the USTA Southern Section designed to bring players into USTA League. Anyone who brings six new players to a USTA Adult or Senior team is eligible for a $200 incentive.

Why?
New players are crucial to USTA League growth.

What states are participating?
For the adult and senior (Adult 18 & Over and Adult 40 & Over) leagues, all states in the Southern section will participate. For the Combo Doubles league, AL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN will participate.

What programs are included?
USTA Adult and Senior programs. USTA Southern is now accepting Combo Doubles teams as part of this innovative program in the above-mentioned levels. The first 75 new Combo Doubles teams (summer and fall seasons) to submit claim forms in the USTA Southern Section are eligible for this cash reward.

What constitutes a "new player?"
For an adult or senior team:A new player will be identified as a player who is new to USTA and is participating in their first season on a USTA Adult or Senior team. For a combo team: A new player will be identified as a player who is new to USTA and is participating in their first season on a USTA Combo Doubles team. If the new player registered for a mixed doubles program in the summer season and has not been claimed previously, then he/she is eligible as a new player. The Cash Reward program is open to Adult 18 or 40 & Over teams. New players must be at the 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 levels within USTA Southern and must be participating in USTA Leagues for the first time.

Who is qualified to start a team?
Anyone that starts a team would qualify for the payout. This could include a pro, a LLC, a facility manager, a captain, or just a tennis enthusiast.

Can a player be counted in two leagues?
No, a player is only eligible to be counted one time. If they are resubmitted on another form they will not count towards the six players to constitute a team.

When can I start recruiting new teams?
The first 2012 registrations begin January 1, 2012 and submissions will be accepted at that point. Early Start Leagues will run on a 2012 calendar year cycle. For Combo Doubles teams, teams can turn in their claims forms as soon as their summer and/or fall teams are registered for the 2012 season. The first 75 Combo Doubles teams to turn in a claim form will receive the $200 cash reward. The first 2012 registrations begin January 1, 2012 and submissions will be accepted at that point for the 2012 league year (deadline December 30, 2012) or until the first 350 teams (Adult/Senior/Combo Doubles) are claimed.

How do I submit a claim?
Fill out this form and submit to your state office for verification via fax, mail or email. After TennisLink records are referenced your state office will mail out incentives. Please note checks are mailed once per month.
