USTA League Tennis registration for Mixed Doubles and Senior Men is now open! Deadline to register for Mixed Doubles is Friday, February 26th with play to begin on Friday, March 19th at 7:00pm. Deadline to register for Senior Men is Saturday, February 13th with play to begin Saturday, March 6th at 2:00pm. Middle School Spring Season - Registration Now Open!

Registration is officially open for the 2nd season of the Middle School Spring Season of the Wilson Pre-Collegiate League! Registration deadline is February 17th, with play to begin on Sunday, February 28th at 3:30pm. Cost to play is $15/player. You will need a minimum of 5 boys and 5 girls to field a full team, and teams are run by a parent captain. Easy online registration at playusta.com! 3.5 Senior Men Champion - River Club (Kenneth Owen)

Congratulations to the new fall 2010 Senior Men City Champions. Kenneth Owen's River Club team became the new 3.5 division city champion after defeating Brett Ray's Silver Ridge team. The 4.0 division's new city champion, Sandy Springs TC captained by Robert Pritula, was crowned after they defeated Terry McCain's Bitsy Grant TC team. The 4.5 division did not require a city championship; however, Mark Rubin's RCS team won the division and were crowned the new 4.5 city champion.

The Fall 2010 Senior Weekday Women City Championships were held December 9th at Dekalb Tennis Center. The Senior women were on the court long before the matches began as they worked together to dry the courts. Once play was underway, the 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 teams battled to become the new city champion. Congratulations to all the teams and we look forward to seeing you next season!

Atlanta Tennis Championships

The ATP formally awarded an ATP 250 sanction to the USTA Southern Section at a press event on December 17, 2009 hosted jointly by the ATP, the USTA and USTA Southern Section. The tournament will be held from July 17-25, 2010. The Atlanta event will serve as the kick-off to the 2010 Olympus US Open Series. Premium, box seats and champagne table tickets go on sale January 19, 2010. Other tickets will be going on sale at a later date, to be determined.
