World-Class Professional Tennis Returns To Highland Park Tennis Center In Birmingham

The USTA announced that Highland Park Tennis Center will host the fifth annual Players’ Choice Open Oct. 18-27.
The tournament, a men’s USTA Pro Circuit event, is the largest tennis event in Birmingham and attracts many high-caliber international players. Players competing in Futures tournaments, like this one, generally have an ATP Entry System ranking ranging from No. 150 to No. 900.
The draw for the Players’ Choice Open will feature 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. The qualifying tournament, beginning Oct. 18, has a draw size of 128 players and will determine the final eight singles players in the field.
The USTA Pro Circuit event will also feature Pro-Am matches Oct. 23 from 2 – 5 p.m., where community members are invited to compete against the pros. For more information or to enter,
