In 1992, this event was voted by the USTA as the Adult Tournament of the Year and in 2010 was selected as the Special Tennis Event of the Year.
This event is the longest running USTA Pro Circuit tennis event in the United States, and this will be the 32nd year that it has been held in Little Rock, with St. Vincent being the tournament’s sponsor since 1984. Also coming to Little Rock is Wayne Bryan, regarded as the world’s greatest tennis showman and father of the Mike and Bob Bryan. With his high energy and love for the sport, Bryan has earned three World Team Tennis Coach of the Year awards. Coach Bryan will offer clinics for men, women, and children on April 16 and 17.
Off the court, the proceeds generated from the tournament go towards the St. Vincent New Outlook Cancer Recovery Program, which reaches out to women who are faced with cancer in the state of Arkansas.
