Inductees into States' Halls of Fame

Numerous Southerners will be inducted into the Halls of Fame of our nine Southern states. Here is a list of the 2015 inductees.

Alabama Tennis Association Hall of Fame

  • Charlie Lane, Tennis Director and Coach at Huntington College in Montgomery
  • Jenny Maize, current tennis coach at the University of Alabama
  • Eleanora Mauritson, of Fairhope, past President of USTA Alabama and past member of the USTA Southern Board of Directors

The induction will be held on February 21 at the Montgomery Country Club, Montgomery. Induction will begin at 5:30 with reception dinner following. 

Mississippi Tennis Association Hall of Fame

  • Marty Pearson

North Carolina Tennis Hall of Fame

  • Andy Avram
  • Christian (Chris) Kennedy
