Crawford wins in Arizona

Atlanta's Samantha Crawford auren Herring defeated Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland to win the Copperwynd Pro Challenge.

Crawford prevailed 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to win the singles crown at the $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Crawford defeated two seeded players on her way to the final: Rebecca Peterson and Julia Gloshko.
