Southern Crowns 21 Teams Sectional Champions

Over two thousand of the top league tennis players gathered in Louisville, KY to compete for Southern Sectional Championships. Twenty-one teams won bids to the 2002 USA League Tennis presented by Lincoln National Championships, to be played this fall. All teams enjoyed exciting tennis, beautiful weather and a Players' Party at Churchill Downs.

USA League Tennis continues to be the world’s largest recreational tennis league for adults and seniors providing organized, structured team matches for all skill levels (NTRP levels 2.5 - 5.0). Approximately 407,000 players compete nationwide, with over 114,00 adult and senior players in the Southern Section alone. The program is open to men and women aged 19 and older and features a local, state and Southern Sectional championship and culminates in a national championship at each skill level.

USA League Tennis is presented nationally by Lincoln.
