There will be an all Southern final in the Girls 18 Doubles of the USTA Spring National Championships as number two seeds Keri Wong from Jackson, Mississippi and Kathryn Talbert from Statesville, North Carolina will meet the unseeded team of Lauren Herring from Greenville, North Carolina and Grace Min from Lawrenceville, Georgia. Herring and Min defeated the top seeded team of Lauren Embree and Rachel Saiontz from Florida.
Herring and Min are seeking their second consecutive National Doubles title after their win in December at the USTA Winter National 18's Championships. Min is seeking her fifth consecutive National doubles title following wins in 2007 at the Easter Bowl 14's Spring Nationals (with Herring), USTA National 14's Clay Courts (with Whitney Kay) and the USTA National 14's Hard Courts also with Whitney Kay.
Min and Wong will first have matches in the singles semifinals of the back draw. Jadon Phillips from Macon, Georgia and Kevin King from Peachtree City, Georgia are also in the semi's of the back draw in Boys 18's singles.
