"I am so proud of this great group of players because there is no question that they won by working hard all week and were prepared for doubles which usually determines which team wins," said Team Southern coach Rick Davison. "It was especially nice to win this event since it was in our own section. It is definitely impressive to have such a young group of players win an event of this magnitude and it shows how strong the level of play will be in the Southern Section in the future".
