2005 Joe Creason Junior Qualifier

The United States Tennis Association-Kentucky is excited to announce the 2005 Joe Creason Junior Qualifier Tennis Tournament will be hosted by Louisville, Kentucky Saturday, June 4 through Saturday, June 11, 2005.

Over 350 junior participants from around the state will play in this prestigious tournament. Players will be competing to advance to the USTA Southern Section Closed Tennis Tournament.

Matches will be played at various sites across the city with Kentucky Country Day being the main site. Satellite sites include Sacred Heart Academy, Bass-Rudd Tennis Center, Petersburg Park, Chickasaw Park, North Oldham High School, Tom Sawyer State Park, and Floyd Central High School in Southern Indiana.

“This is our largest junior tournament in the state,” said Julie Pek, Executive Director of USTA Kentucky. “The juniors really take it seriously; they are competing for a place on the Kentucky team for the next level.”

This year’s top Event Partners include Tom and Dee’s Tennis Shop, Great Grins Children’s Dental Specialists-Dr. Keith Ray, Chuck and Mike’s Tennis Shop, and Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc.- Wainwright, Laventis & Thompson. Signs, Dr. Stewart Jeffries-Orthodontist, and Patti G’s Tennis Plus.
