OFFICIAL BALL: Wilson Extra -Duty

ELIGIBILITY: 18 and under division: Born between January 1, 1987 and December 31, 1992
16 and under division: Born between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 1992
A player cannot participate in any ITF Junior Tournament until they have reached their 13th birthday.

ACCEPTANCES: Notification of Main Draw & Qualifying acceptance will be sent to Federations and posted on www.usta.com, March 14, 2005. Criteria for acceptance are WTA, ATP, ITF, ETA, COSAT, and Federation "order of merit". ONLY players in the Singles Main Draw may play doubles, unless approved by tournament committee. 8 singles players qualify for main draw. Players may only enter one age division for singles and doubles. Click here for a wild card application.

REGISTRATION: All players MUST register in person during the hours below at the Home Depot Center. All entry fees (cash only) will be collected on site at registration. Players without entry fee will not be permitted to compete. Doubles Sign-In will be on-site on Sunday, April 3, 2005.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: This is an ITF Group 1 Tournament. The ITF junior world ranking code of conduct will be enforced. Default will be declared 15 minutes after match is called. All matches will be the best of 3 tiebreak sets. Twelve point tiebreakers will be used at 6 games all in all sets. The deadline for withdrawal without incurring any penalty is 14 days prior to scheduled start of singles main draw.

HOSPITALITY: 18 and under MAIN DRAW (only) players will receive a housing allowance per day based on double occupancy from Sunday, April 3 through night of elimination from the tournament at the official player hotel. You must book hotel directly with the USTA office by completing the downloadable form and faxing it to 310-630-4501. Deadline for reservations is Friday, March 11, 2005.

18 and under main draw players and one official designated coach per federation will receive complimentary lunches at the tournament site. Breakfast and dinner will be provided at the official player hotel through day of elimination.

TRANSPORTATION: Round trip complimentary shuttle bus service will be provided from the Torrance Holiday Inn to the Home Depot Center beginning Friday, April 1. Transportation is NOT provided by the tournament from the airport but local taxi and shuttle services are available. You may also rent through Avis Rental Car. We have obtained a discounted rate, plus use code AWD #D005251.

DRESS CODE: ITF regulations mandate proper tennis attire. T-shirts are not permitted for boys or girls.

ENTRY FEES: Boys and Girls 18 - $50 (Fee set according to ITF regulations) Boys and Girls 16 - $70
Entry fees will be collected at time of registration only. Player will be required to pay in cash and will not be allowed to register without payment of entry fee.

Appropriate official Federation signatures must appear on the entry form OR a letter of endorsement on Federation letterhead signed by an official Federation represenatative stating endorsement must be received by the entry deadline. U.S. Tennis Academies with players without U.S. residency must make arrangements in advance to adhere to these federation endorsement procedures. An international entry is not official unless accompanied by Federation endorsement.

U.S. Players- All players in good standing will be endorsed by the USTA upon timely receipt of entry.
