Two Rising Southern Stars Win "Little Mo" Championships

Nine year olds Thai Kwiatkowski and Hayley Carter are crowned champions at "Little Mo" National tournament held in Austin, Texas.

Thai Kwiatkowski of Charlotte, NC captured the Boy's 10 National Tennis Title at "Little Mo" held in Austin, Texas. The nine year old star won his quarterfinal and semi-final matches in three sets before going on to take the title. Thai played up a division and beat the two time defending National Champion, Mitchell Poulnet, of Pennsylvania.

Thai is currently ranked #78 in the boys 12 and unders Nationally and # 6 in Southern Section. He will turn 10 on Feb. 13th 2005.

Hayley Carter of Columbia, SC won the girls 9 year old division and is currently ranked #1 in the Southern Section Girl's 10 division.

"Little Mo" tournaments include Boys and Girls 8, 9, 10 and 11 Singles, and are offered to provide young players the opportunity to compete against players of their own age, at Sectional, Regional and National levels.
