The USTA today announced Team Southern's roster for the World Team Tennis Junior National Championships. The event will be hosted by Billie Jean King and played at the Barnes Family Tennis Center in San Diego, CA from August 19-22, 2004. This marks the first year that the USTA Southern Section will send a team to the event, which has been held for several years.
The team below will be coached by Joe Kroh, from Louisville, KY. Kroh has been a Zonals coach for several years and his teams at St. X in Louisville have won the state high school championship multiple times. The selection committee has chosen two players from the 18s division and one player from the 16s to compete in this years championships.
