Collegiate Tennis Events Fill the Fall Calendar

ITA National Championships in the USTA Southern Section

  • October 9-12 (qualifying Oct. 3-8)
    Hot/ITA Men's All-American Championships
    The Champions Club in Chattanooga, TN
    This is the first of three national championships during the 2003-04 season, featuring the top collegiate men's players in the nation.

ITA Regional Championships in the USTA Southern Section

  • November 6-9
    The singles finalists and doubles champions from the various Division I tournaments throughout the section advance to the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, the second of three national collegiate championships, in Ann Arbor, Mich.

    The singles and doubles champions from the non-Division I regionals advance to the Oct. 16-19 ITA National Small College Championships, presented by the USTA, in Corpus Christi, Texas. This unique event features the top NCAA Division II, IIII, NAIA and Junior College players in the nation.

Division I Men's Tournaments

  • ITA Mideast Championships - University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) - Oct. 22-26
  • ITA Southeast Championships - University of Memphis - Oct. 16-19

Division I Women's Tournaments

  • ITA Southeast Championships - Wake Forest Univ. (Winston-Salem, NC) - Oct. 23-27
  • ITA Southern Championships - University of Georgia (Athens) - Oct. 17-20

Division II Men's and Women's Tournaments

  • ITA Mid-Atlantic Championships - Armstrong Atlantic State Univ. (Savannah, Ga.) - October 3-5

Division III Men's and Women's Tournaments

  • ITA Southern Championships - University of the South (Sewanee, Tenn.)) - September 26-28 (W) and October 3-5 (M)

NAIA Men's and Women's Tournaments

  • ITA Southern Championships - Shorter College (Rome, Ga.)- September 19-21
  • ITA Southeast Championships - Transylvania (at Univ. of Kentucky, Lexington) - September 25-27
  • ITA South Central Championships - Freed-Hardeman University (Henderson, Tenn.) - September 26-28

Junior College Men's and Women's Tournaments

  • ITA Southeast Championships - Central Alabama CC (Alexander City, Ala.) - Oct. 3-5
