2013 USTA Multicultural/Diversity Tennis Grant Window Open

October 15, 2012 05:02 PM
Applications are open for 2013 USTA multicultural/diversity tennis grants, with November and December deadlines for various grant applications. The purpose of the annual USTA multicultural/diversity grants is to provide tennis and education funding to organizations and individuals that lack financial resources, as well as for local program organizers delivering tennis programs to multicultural audiences.

The USTA Diversity and Inclusion Initiative is made up of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, comprised of USTA national and USTA sectional volunteers, and full-time staff members at the national and sectional level. The volunteer committees and the staff work in a coordinated effort to achieve greater diversity and inclusion in all areas of the USTA. The Diversity & Inclusion Committee was formed by the USTA to increase participation-particularly in the African-American, Asian, Latino, Hispanic, and Native American communities.
