Recreational tennis players from in and around Atlanta can earn the chance to play alongside the Pros at the Atlanta Tennis Championships this July!
The Atlanta Tennis Championships is running a 3-week Club Mixed Doubles Challenge for teams at the 2.5, 3.0. 3.4. 4.0 and 4.5 levels. Play begins the week of Saturday June 12 with each team playing three, flex-scheduled qualifying matches within their division. Each division winner at the completion of the three weeks of qualifying rounds will advance to a single elimination, flex-scheduled tournament. Play will continue for two additional weeks until only two teams remain. The final two teams at each level will then play the championship final “on-site” during the Atlanta Tennis Championships at the Atlanta Athletic Club, July 17 – 25.
Entry deadline is Monday, June 7 although entries will close for a level once 32 teams have entered.
USTA Members will get a 10 percent discount when they type in USTA-MXD.

PLAYER INFORMATION
- Each individual player must submit an entry and list their partners name where requested
- Matches are best of 3 sets, with a match tie-breaker in lieu of 3rd set.
- Entries limited to the first 64 teams to enter at each level of play.
- Events are Mixed Doubles at NTRP levels; 2.5; 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; 4.5
- Both players must be rated at the NTRP level for each event.
- Finals played on-site during the Atlanta Tennis Championships.
- Flex Scheduling: Match times to be arranged between teams.
- If teams cannot agree on match time, the designated match time is the 2nd Sunday of the match period at 1pm.
- Entry deadline is Monday June 7, or as soon as 32 entries in an event are received.
- Sign up with your partner & designate your home court.
- Play starts the week of Saturday June 12 with one scheduled match per week. (Saturday to the following Sunday)
- Entry is open only to players with a home court within 25 miles of Atlanta, GA.
- Each team is guaranteed at least 3 matches within their division.
- Division winners advance to a single elimination, flex scheduled playoff played over 2 additional weeks.
- Final two teams in each event will play for the championship on-site at the ATC.
- Each division winner player receives (1) ATC Reserved Ticket to early round action.
- Championship winners receive (2) Reserved Tickets to their choice of the semi-finals or finals of the ATC
- When completing entry, each player must enter their NTRP rating in the section titled “Playing Information”
