Atlanta Tennis Championships Club Mixed Doubles Challenge

Recreational tennis players from in and around Atlanta can earn the chance to play alongside the Pros at the Atlanta Tennis Championships this July!

USTA Southern in partnership with Xpoint Sports and running a 3-week Club Mixed Doubles Challenge for teams at the 2.5, 3.0. 3.4. 4.0 and 4.5 levels. Play begins the week of Saturday June 5 and each team will play 3 qualifying flex-scheduled matches within their division. Each team with the best win/loss record after division play will advance to a single elimination tournament. Play will continue for up to three additional weeks until only two teams remain. The top two teams at each level will then have earned the chance to play their championship final “on-site” during the Atlanta Tennis Championships at the Atlanta Athletic Club, July 17 – 25. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE ATLANTA TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS CLUB MIXED DOUBLES CHALLENGE                                                                                                 

- BE SURE TO ENTER THE EVENT FOR YOUR NTRP RATING LEVEL OF PLAY.
- Finals played on-site during the Atlanta Tennis Championships.
- Flex Scheduling-match times set between teams.
- Entry deadline is May 31, or as soon as 64 entries at each level are received.
- Sign up with your partner & designate your home court.
- Play starts the week of Saturday June 5 with one match per week.
- Entries limited to the first 64 teams to enter at each level of play.
- Events is Mixed Doubles at NTRP levels; 2.5; 3.0; 3.5; 4.0; 4.5
- No player on a team can be rated higher than the advertised NTRP level for each event..
- To insure limited travel time for matches, entry is open only to players with a home court within 25 miles of Atlanta, GA.
- Each team is guaranteed at least 3 matches within their division.
- Division winners advance to a single elimination playoff played over 3 additional weeks.
- Final two teams will play for the championship on-site at the ATC.
- When completing your entry, be sure to include your iPR rating. Convert your NTRP rating to an Xpoint iPR (international player rating) - see entry page for details.
- Use your NTRP rating to establish your starting iPR or refer to the available chart to select your iPR rating.
- Welcome to Xpoint Reward Points! This event is allocated 50% Reward Points.
