April 19, 2010 11:19 AM
For Jamie Hampton the fourth time was the charm as the Auburn, Ala. player won her first pro tournament of 2010 after dropping three USTA Pro Circuit finals this year. She defeated Florencia Molinero in the USTA Women's $25,000 Pro Circuit Tournament in Osprey, Fla. Hampton, 20, defeated Molinero 6-1, 6-3 in only 58 minutes.

Hampton also won Cleveland, a clay court tournament, in 2009. She has also won two USTA Pro Circuit doubles crowns.

2010 has been marvelous for Hampton as she's also reached three other finals on the USTA Pro Circuit. She lost the Lutz final to Mandy Minella, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2; the Hammond, La. final to Shuai Zhang 6-2, 6-1 and the Jackson, Miss. final to Mirjana Lucic 7-5, 6-3.

Hampton is now ranked No. 290 in the world by the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour and has earned $43,979.
