USTA Pro Circuit Tournament Moved To Auburn University

The City of Auburn/Auburn University (Ala.)Yarbrough Tennis Center will host the USTA Professional Women’s Tennis Tournament from Nov. 3-9. The event had originally been scheduled for Pittsburgh, Pa.

The tournament, a USTA $50,000 Pro-Circuit Event, is expected to draw the top female pro circuit players from around the world. The tournament field includes a 32-player main draw, a 16-team doubles draw and a 32-player qualifying draw. Qualifying begins Nov. 2.

Matches are open to the public. Admission is $3 per day. Tournament passes are available for $20. Admission for children 12 & under is free.

Volunteers are needed to provide daily transportation for the players to and from the tournament site. Tournament sponsorships are also available.
