The Professional Tennis Registry is coming to
Atlanta, GA

Teaching Essentials Certification Workshop
Blackburn Tennis Center

May 17-18, 2008

Saturday, May 17, 9:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday, May 18, 9:00am - 6:00pm

The Teaching Essentials Certification Workshop is for established and prospective tennis teachers who wish to become certified by the PTR. Details of the serve, forehand and backhand are demonstrated as part of a standardized method of instruction. Emphasis is placed on the development of biomechanically sound strokes and provides an understanding of fundamental group teaching techniques. Primarily conducted on-court, the workshop provides hands-on interactive training and participants have the opportunity to practice teaching the strokes. The certification test is administered immediately following the workshop.

You need to sign up in advance in order to get the study materials needed to do well on the tests. If interested and for more information, please call Iñaki Balzola, PTR International Director/ACE Coordinator at 800-421-6289 or email inaki@ptrtennis.org .
