In tennis, respect has to be earned. The automotive world is no different. Introducing the latest BMW that’s up to the task: the new BMW 1 Series Coupe.

A modern and authentic performance coupe, the 1 Series Coupe draws inspiration from the legendary BMW 2002 models from years past. Sporty real-wheel drive dynamics, agile handling, powerful engines, and seating for four make the 1 Series Coupe an exciting and dynamic addition to the BMW team.

Available in the Spring of 2008, the 1 Series Coupe offers two versions: the 128i and the 135i. The 128i Coupe is powered by a 3.0-liter, 230-horsepower inline 6-cylinder engine and features Valvetronic valvetrain management. The 135i Coupe features BMW’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and an incredible 3300 lb-ft of torque. Performance is further enhanced by BMW’s Dynamic Stability Control with Dynamic Traction Control function. Active Steering is also available as an option.

The new 1 Series Coupe also features a high-tech suspension and newly-developed differential for optimum traction, excellent directional stability, and the superb handling BMW is known for.

True champions apply their strength in sporting style. Accordingly, the 1 Series Coupe features a powerful, muscular body, short overhangs, long wheelbase, large, frameless doors, and a striking shoulder line for a modern interpretation of BMW’s characteristic look. Its innovative interior is equal parts luxury and technology. Galvanized pearl gloss surfaces and available Boston leather upholstery compliment the technological genius of the iDrive system with programmable memory keys, premium sound, and available USB port for an Apple iPod or iPhone.

With so much natural talent, the new 1 Series Coupe is poised to dominate. Visit today to learn more about the new BMW 1 Series Coupe, the next BMW legend.
