USTA Southern natives, Hunter Hines, Craig Jones and Dan Vonk were honored for their outstanding work and contributions in the development of tennis. The 2007 Champions of Tennis honorees have been profiled in the latest issue of Racquet Sports Industry (RSI) Magazine. Hines, of Atlanta, Ga., is a sales representative for Head/Penn in the Southern Section and services more than 220 accounts in the metro Atlanta area, the rest of Georgia and most of Alabama. Craig Jones, of Martinez, Ga., was named Junior Development Champion of the Year. Jones has dedicated his time and career to the growth and development of tennis and is the Director of Tennis and majority owner of the Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez, Ga. Dan Vonk or Camden County, Ga., has been recognized as Grassroots Champion of the Year for his work with the Camden County High School boys' and girls' tennis teams.
