The Ford Tennis Championship in Louisville Kentucky

Don’t miss all the action as The Ford Tennis Championships returns to Louisville! The Championships, a $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit Men’s Challenger was designed to create opportunities for rising tennis players to earn points for the Pro Tour all while benefiting a worthy cause – Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Last year’s event featured some of the top rising stars of the professional ranks including 2007 Wimbledon Juniors champion Donald Young and eventual champion Amer Delic. The 2007 Ford Tennis Championships will be played Oct. 29 – Nov. 4 at the Louisville Tennis Club.

The Championships are a true community event and will not be successful without your help. There are many ways to be involved including:

  • Be an integral part of the Championships by volunteering. We have a wide variety of needs to run this unique event. To learn more about volunteering, contact Fran Etoch at 502.645.5993 or franetoch@hotmail.com.

  • Interested in playing in the Pro-Am on or becoming a sponsor, contact Brooks Lundy at 859-317-2003 or blundy@game-seven.com. Our Pro-Am will be held on Oct. 28-29, exclusively for our sponsors and their professional tennis counterparts. By becoming a sponsor, you will receive the finest in local dining, hospitality, box seats to every session and tremendous exposure.

  • Want to get your child involved or be involved directly in the action yourself, join the Tennis Ball Crew! The ball crew, open to adults and kids, will hold training sessions on Oct. 14th & 21st. at Louisville Tennis Club. Contact Jessica Warren at jwarren@game-seven.com or 859.317.2005.

  • Ladies, treat yourself to wonderful day of hospitality, pampering, and shopping at our Ladies Day presented by Finlandia & Amarula on Nov. 1st from 11:30 – 2:00.

  • Our newest event at the Championships promises to be unique. Men’s Night will be held on Nov. 2nd at 6:30 PM. Plenty of activities are planned strictly for the guys! Don’t miss any of the fun or hard-hitting tennis action.
