Donald Young Takes Home First Challenger Title

The rising American tennis superstar, Donald Young, took home his first challenger championship this weekend at the Comerica Challenger in Aptos, CA. The Atlanta resident defeated fellow Georgian, Bobby Reynolds, 7-5, 6-0 in the finals. Playing some of his best tennis, the 18-year-old teenager, took home a whopping $75,000.

Coming into the tournament, Young was ranked No. 290 in the world. After capturing the win at Seascape Sports Club he received 60 ATP points to help boost his ranking. Next week he will be competing at ATP RCA Championships in Indianapolis.
