Limited Number of Tickets Go On Sale for Davis Cup Quarterfinal Between United States and Spain

A limited number of tickets (approximately 250) to the 2007 Davis Cup Quarterfinal between the United States and Spain, April 6-8, at Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem have become available and will go on sale on a first-come, first-serve basis on Thursday, March 29th.

Tickets are available in all price categories and are sold as a three-day series.

Tickets can be purchased three ways:

1. in person at the Joel Coliseum Box Office (10-5 p.m.)

2. by calling your local Ticketmaster Charge by Phone

3. on-line at www.ticketmaster.com

INFO: Three of the Top 10 players in the world have been named to the teams for the 2007 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Quarterfinal between the United States and Spain. No. 3 Andy Roddick and No. 8 James Blake will return to the site of the Davis Cup home debuts for the United States as well as the world’s No. 1 doubles team, Bob and Mike Bryan. No. 6 Tommy Robredo will lead Spain.

The best-of-five match series begins Friday, April 6 with two singles matches, featuring each country’s No. 1 player against the other country’s No. 2 player. Saturday’s schedule features the pivotal doubles match. The final day of play on Sunday will feature two “reverse singles” matches, when the No. 1 players square-off followed by the No. 2 players meeting each other in the final match.
