USTA Kentucky Job Opportunity

USTA Kentucky has a job opening and is recruiting for an energetic, self-motivated State League Coordinator. This person reports to the Executive Director and is a FULL-TIME position.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational, administrative and customer support skills
  • Ability to work well with people, including players, volunteers, staff and the overall tennis community
  • 5 or more years experience in a customer service related field
  • Previous USTA League Tennis participation preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications and use of the Internet
  • Ability to travel and to work on weekends

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a campaign to promote and publicize all USTA Adult League programs prior to the start of the season
  • Recruit and train Local League Coordinators, communicating regularly with them and providing on-going support
  • Organize and conduct state league championships
  • Prepare and manage yearly league and tournament budgets
  • Provide courteous and prompt service to all internal and external customers
  • Work with Community Tennis Associations to develop adult league programs
  • Act as liaison with USTA Southern Section adult program personnel
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by the Executive Director
