Family Circle Cup Tickets On Sale Saturday

As a top women’s professional tennis tournament on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, the Family Circle Cup attracts the top female athletes in the world. Every April, tennis stars descend on Charleston to compete for one of the most coveted trophies in the sport. Individual session tickets for the 2007 Family Circle Cup will go on sale to the public through Ticketmaster starting at 10:00am on Saturday, January 20th, and can be obtained 24 hours a day on-line by visiting www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be ordered through Ticketmaster by phone at (843) 554-6060, or at any local Publix location offering Ticketmaster services. The 2007 Family Circle Cup player field now boasts a Grand Slam caliber roster including current World #1 Justine Henin-Hardenne, 2006 Australian Open & Wimbledon Champion Amelie Mauresmo, and two-time Family Circle Cup Champion Martina Hingis. The 2007 Family Circle Cup is scheduled for April 7th-15th at the Family Circle Tennis Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

“We want everyone to come out and enjoy world class tennis in Charleston, so we’re offering the utmost in flexibility and convenience by giving our fans the opportunity to purchase individual session tickets so they can selectively choose a day and time to attend that best fits their busy schedules,” commented Robin Reynolds – Family Circle Cup Tournament Director. “Individual session tickets are now easier than ever to buy on the web now that we’ve partnered with Ticketmaster to provide our fans with easy access to tickets at anytime of the day or night”.

Individual session tickets permit ticket purchasers to attend either day or night sessions. Below is a brief description of the various pricing levels available for the 2007 Family Circle Cup:

Grounds Passes: $10 / $25 per day (children under 12 are free when accompanied by a paying adult)

Grounds Passes grant first-come first-served admission to all outer courts (except Family Circle Magazine Stadium) and are available throughout the Qualifying Rounds (Saturday, April 7th & Sunday, April 8th) for $10.00 each. Grounds Passes are also available for Main Draw matches for the entire day on Monday, April 9th through the Day Session on Tuesday, April 10th for $25.00 each.

Terrace Seats (2nd Tier): $30 / $55 per ticket

These ticketed seats are available for the beginning of main draw action on Monday, April 9th through the Thursday, April 12th night session and are located in the second tier of Family Circle Magazine Stadium that also grant first-come first-served admission to all of the outer courts of the facility during the day sessions. Typically, four or more matches are played in the stadium in each day session. Since there aren’t any night matches on the outer courts, night session tickets give you access to tennis action in Family Circle Magazine Stadium only, but you can browse the grounds and enjoy shopping, Happy Hour drink specials, and other activities throughout the entire facility. Individual day session Terrace level seats are $55.00, and night session tickets are $30.00.

Grandstand Seats: $20 / $45 / $50 per ticket

These ticketed seats are available for the beginning of main draw action on Monday, April 9th through the championship finals on Sunday, April 15th and are located in the third tier of Family Circle Magazine Stadium. These tickets also grant first-come first-served admission to all of the outer courts of the facility during day sessions. Typically, four or more matches are played in Family Circle Magazine Stadium in each day session. Since there aren’t any night matches on the outer courts, night session tickets give you access to tennis action in Family Circle Magazine Stadium only, but you can browse the grounds and enjoy shopping, Happy Hour drink specials, and other activities throughout the entire facility. Individual Grandstand night session tickets are available from Tuesday, April 10th through quarterfinal action on Friday, April 13th for a low price of only $20.00. Individual Grandstand day session tickets are only $45.00 from Monday, April 9th through Friday, April 13th, then increase to $50.00 for the semifinals and finals matches on Saturday, April 14th & Sunday, April 15th.
