The International Tennis Hall of Fame announced that Hall of Fame legend Jimmy Connors has made available a special
New York tennis experience, including an exclusive 90-minute hit session with him on the grounds of the
US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York, US Open tickets, dinner at a top New York restaurant and two nights hotel accommodations at a premier New York hotel. One package for up to four people is available to the highest bidder with the proceeds benefiting the
International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Connors, a 1998 Hall of Fame Inductee and one of the sport’s greatest competitors, was ranked No. 1 in the world for 268 weeks (160 consecutive weeks) while ranking in the World’s Top 10 for 16 consecutive years. He holds the men’s all-time record for most career singles titles with 109, capturing eight Grand Slam singles championship titles: Wimbledon in 1974 and 1982, the 1974 Australian Open and five US Open championships (1974, ‘76, ’78, ’82 and ’83) where he thrilled New York crowds.

This exciting tennis experience starts on Wednesday evening, September 6th with accommodations at a premier hotel in New York City. Thursday morning you’re off to the grounds of the US National Tennis Center for a 90-minute hit session with Connors, followed by courtside photos and talking tennis with the five-time Open champion. The lucky participants will also receive autographed copies of Connors’ recently released instructional DVDs, Tennis Fundamentals, which gives insight to players of all levels and features Hall of Famers Chris Evert, Tracy Austin and Pancho Segura as well as current tennis stars, including James Blake and Justine Henin-Hardenne.
