Robby Ginepri, a 22-year-old from Marietta, Ga., continued his amazing run through the men's draw at the National Tennis Center on Wednesday, knocking off No. 8 seed Guillermo Coria 4-6, 6-1, 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 in a quarterfinal match.

After squandering five match points, Ginepri converted his sixth when Coria nervously double-faulted. It was Ginepri’s third consecutive five-set win, marking the first time a U.S. Open semifinalist has done that since Stefan Edberg in 1992.

Ginepri will be making his first appearance in a Grand Slam Semifinal where he will take on Andre Agassi. The 35 year-old Agassi was able to outlast another American James Blake in an epic match that also went five-sets last night.
