BMW Named Title Sponsor Of Combo Doubles

The USTA Southern Section announced the signing of BMW of North America as title sponsor of Combo Doubles for the USTA Southern Section and USA Tennis Florida. The deal officially began on January 1, 2005 and runs through January 31, 2007. This partnership also includes the Mini Cooper brand as an Official Sponsor of the USTA Southern Section and USA Tennis Florida Combo Doubles Program and allows them to promote their automobiles to all league players and teams throughout the section.

The deal will allow BMW and Mini to hold and promote test drives and car displays at each of the USTA Southern Section and USA Tennis Florida Combo Doubles and State Sectional Championship sites. BMW and USTA Southern Section will be working together to provide incentives for USTA Combo Doubles Players to visit BMW and Mini Cooper dealerships throughout the region.

Founded in 1881, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis in this country. In addition to owning the US Open and selecting members of the Davis Cup, Fed Cup, Olympic and Paralympic teams, the USTA administers a variety of programs nationwide for players of all ages and ability levels and, as a not-for-profit organization, the association invests 100% of its proceeds to promote and develop the growth of tennis.
