USTA Atlanta will hold a free afternoon of tennis fun on Sunday, August 8th at the Racquet Club of the South. Tennis activities will begin at 3:00 with on-court games and tennis lessons for kids and adults. The finals of the Nike Pro Challenge and an exhibition match featuring TJ Middleton and Ellis Ferreira will also take place. Exhibitors like Wilson and Nike will allow attendees to demo equipment throughout the afternoon. Items from Wilson, Nike, Evian, Braves tickets, AirTran tickets, a $1,500 gift certificate for HealthScreen America and the Peace of Mind Package are scheduled to be raffled.
To celebrate the ending of another great USA League Tennis season, the “Michelob Ultra Team of the Summer” will be crowned. Teams have been collecting Michelob Ultra cans all summer in quest for the title.
“The Michelob Ultra Ultimate Tennis Party of the Summer provides an excellent opportunity for any tennis fan to come watch some great tennis,” said USTA Atlanta Executive Director Matt Olson. “Tennis players of all ages can pick up some new tips during the lessons and see the newest equipment at the exhibitor booths.”Schedule of Events:

The Nike Pro Challenge League provides an opportunity for local Atlanta tennis talent to perform at a highly competitive level. Participants hold a USTA ranking of 5.5 or above and many are teaching pros at Atlanta’s premier facilities. The Nike Pro Challenge offers these players an organized league twice a year to help keep them at the top of their game.
A non-profit organization founded in 1980, the Atlanta Community Tennis Association is dedicated to the development of USTA programs and tennis within the metropolitan Atlanta area. With over 40,000 participants, USTA Atlanta has the largest USA League Tennis program in the United States. A professional staff based in Norcross, carries out the daily operations but policy is formed and much of the organization's work is executed via a Board of Directors, committees and volunteers.
