The St. Louis District Tennis Association will host the 78th National Public Parks Championships, August 1-7, at Dwight Davis Tennis Center, in St. Louis, MO. All tennis enthusiasts are invited to enter!

The divisions offered for this tournament are as follows:
- Men's/Women's Open; Singles/Doubles
- Men's/Women's 35's and 45's; Singles/Doubles
- Mixed Senior (men must be 35 and over, women must be 30 and over)
- All Junior Divisions Singles
- Father/Son
- Parent/Child
- NTRP Division 2.5, 3.5, 4.5
- Wheelchair divisions - TBA
A player may participate in three events, with two (2) being the most a player can play in the singles divisions.
All tennis enthusiasts are welcome to play! No qualifying is necessary!
The tournament will serve as an official activity of the 100-year anniversary celebration of the 1904 St. Louis World Fair. There are many activities planned for the summer of '04 in Forest Park. And don't forget about our zoo, always voted one of the top three in the United States, and it is free to all visitors. The St. Louis District Tennis Association is proud to host the 78th National Public Parks Championships at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park. Dwight Davis established the National Public Parks Tennis Association in 1923 to encourage the non-affluent to participate in tennis programs within their communities. The association's membership consists of Park and Recreation agencies, community organizations, and local clubs who use public facilities.
The National Public Parks Championships is held in a different city each year. This is the 8th time this tournament will be held in St. Louis since its inception, in 1923. The tournament will serve as an official activity for the centennial celebration of the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair, in historic Forest Park.
